Refund and Subscription Cancellation Policy
SALTMiNE Inc. (the "Company") complies with the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce and other relevant laws to protect users' rights and establish a fair trade order, and implements the following refund and subscription cancellation policy for the Career Space service.
Article 1 (Purpose)
The purpose of this policy is to clarify the rights, obligations, and refund standards between the Company and the user in the process of purchasing, using, canceling, and refunding the Service.
Article 2 (Definitions)
- Paid Service: All products provided by the Company for a fee, including subscriptions (monthly/annual), job-analysis reports, AI career reports, consulting, and enterprise-matching support.
- Job-Analysis Report (Personalized Content): A report individually generated based on the user's responses and behavioral data; use of the digital content is deemed to commence upon delivery.
- Service Use Commencement: The point at which the user begins to use any part of the Service after payment — such as viewing a paid report, executing AI analysis, or using a paid feature.
Article 3 (Subscription Cancellation and Auto-Renewal)
- Cancellation Request: Users may apply to cancel a subscription at any time via My Page.
- Period of Use: Upon cancellation, the user may continue to use the Service until the end of the already-paid current billing cycle; auto-renewal stops from the next payment date.
- Auto-Renewal Notice: The Company clearly displays the auto-renewal cycle and scheduled date on the payment screen, and provides advance notice via email for long-term products such as annual plans.
Article 4 (Withdrawal of Subscription and Refund Principles)
- Full Refund: A full refund is available within 7 days of payment, provided no AI analysis has been executed and no service use — such as viewing a report — has commenced.
Refund Restrictions: Due to the nature of digital content, refunds may be restricted in the following cases:
- When AI analysis and report generation have been completed with the user's consent
- When personalized content (such as a report) has already been viewed or downloaded
- When consumable benefits — such as paid credits or matching application rights — have already been used
- Company Fault: If report generation fails due to a Company system error or normal service provision becomes impossible, the Company will re-provide or issue a full refund.
Article 5 (Job-Analysis Report Satisfaction Guarantee)
If a user is not satisfied with the report's quality, they may request one of the following within 7 days of viewing:
- One free re-test and report regeneration: Considering possible data-input errors or temporary mental state, the Company provides one opportunity to re-analyze.
- Refund Review Request: The Company will review the user's reasons and the system history; if defects in the report are recognized, a partial or full refund will be issued.
- However, refunds may be restricted on subjective grounds alone, such as a simple change of mind or the analysis result differing from the user's expectations.
Article 6 (Mid-Term Cancellation of Annual Plans)
If 7 days have passed since payment of an annual plan, or if the user cancels mid-term after using the Service, the remaining amount is refunded after deducting the following:
- Actual Use Amount: The fee up to the point of cancellation is calculated on a daily or monthly basis based on the "undiscounted standard monthly plan price."
- Benefits and Fees: The standard price of paid benefits already used, cancellation fees (within the scope of relevant laws), and payment fees are deducted.
- If the deducted amount exceeds the payment amount in the recalculation, there may be no refund.
Article 7 (Refund Application and Processing Procedure)
- Application: Apply via customer support email (support@saltmine.io) or in-service features.
- Confirmation: The Company will review payment information, report-viewing history, and re-test history, and notify approval within 3 business days.
- Payment: Upon approval, payment cancellation is processed via the original payment method. However, depending on financial institutions such as card companies, actual refund may take additional time.
Article 8 (Minor's Payment)
Payments made by minors without legal guardian consent may be canceled. However, refunds may be restricted if the minor used another's information of legal age or caused the Company to be reasonably mistaken about the user's age.
